Our Process- exploring the concept of 'Home'
We began with a brief on this yearās theme ā āHome.āĀ From there, we started an open conversation about what "home" really means, diving into its deeper emotional and functional aspects. This discussion sparked a brainstorming session, where we explored various domains within the concept of home. Ultimately, we identified two primary domains that intrigued us the most: Anxiety in the Home SpaceĀ and Interaction Between Family Members who live in the same space.
Interviews
To better understand the challenges within these domains, we conducted interviews with experts.
Ayala Frayer, clinical psychologist.
Rinat Dreizen, parent guide.
Nurit Ben Avi, school counselor.
Ruth, an educator and an employee of the Ministry of Education.
And those were the problems we found:
1. Anxiety in the Home Space
children struggling to cope with anxiety when they are aloneĀ
Low self-image in front of the mirror triggers anxiety
Mediation of anxiety between parents and children who experience it
2. Interaction Between Family Members in Shared Spaces
Lack of communication among divorced parents
Parental failure to detect eating disorders
Loneliness among the youngest sibling due to age gaps between siblings
Looking Ahead
This week laid the foundation for our project, inspiring us to explore creative solutions that could transform the home environment into a space of comfort, connection, and growth. Stay tuned as we continue to uncover new insights and build towards a meaningful solution! There is Something to look forward to. š
