🛠️ Laser Cutting Workshop

We started this week with a laser cutting workshop, where we learned how to operate the machine, set up files correctly, and safely cut materials for our prototype. This step gave us a better understanding of how our digital designs translate into physical parts.
✂️ First Laser Cut Attempt
After finalizing our measurements, we sent our model to the laser cutter and printed all the parts. The process went smoothly, and we carefully removed each piece.
💥 Unexpected Failures
While trying to assemble the model, we discovered that the material we used was too thin and delicate. Several parts cracked or broke, which made us realize that we need to choose a thicker and stronger material to ensure the model holds together properly.
🔜 Coming Up Next:
Choose a sturdier material and adjust the design for thicker cuts
Re-cut the parts and try assembling again
Connect the technology that enables vibration and collapse to the model to test the interaction
